You Wont Believe How Long You Can Make a Reel On Instagram

How Long Can A Reel On Instagram Be

Don’t limit yourself: It is a very powerful statement to start with. I am now connecting this back to all the wonderful experiences of failure over the last few years. Not long ago, I was wondering – maybe I have sacrificed the ability to dream a bit in the name of reality.

At the same time, isn’t reality also a version of the truth we tell ourselves? Does it all come down to our priorities and how committed we are to them? Maybe I am getting a bit philosophical now. I can certainly relate to the central theme of this quote – limiting ourselves and the beliefs about capabilities. I would like to delve into this quote analysis in three segments:

Golden

Bottom line is that we cannot let these limiting beliefs shorten our abilities and reach. I can recall talking about a similar quote – we are all in the gutter but some of us are aiming at the stars. The context might have been slightly different, but the essence is about looking ahead. We can either be driven by where we are or our vision. Neither of these can be limiting beliefs if we really want to be fair to ourselves.

What Is Wrong With Me?' What To Do If You Feel This Way

“Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.” – Mary Kay Ash

So many questions, but the truth is – I really do not know if I want to know the answer. All I know is that I can hate these limiters with a passion because they do not let me achieve the goals I want.

Surely, they all have an origin and a story. Some of these could have been passed down to us by our culture. The others could very well be our experiences where our hands have been burnt in the past.

For the latter, is past an indicator of the future? We talked about this in another article – Oh Yes, the past can hurt, but that’s not what it’s there for. It is an experience – albeit painful. But that is all it is. The past is not a promise of how the future will be.

In fact, it is all a lie we tell ourselves to prevent getting hurt. Is that more important than the actual vision for ourselves? Are our past experiences more real than the dreams that drive us?

This might be me hammering the same point, but – how true is the past or our limiters? Are they the whole truth?

I am sure we can argue on either sides of this statement and yet result in a zero-sum game. However, the question comes down to why we are having this discussion in the first place. If it is a rationalization about our limiting beliefs, then I can find solace in it.

But if it is an opportunity to kick back and stand strong for our own sake – the matter is entirely different. On that note, today’s inspirational thanks to the lovely quote below:Wedding dress trends have been evolving over the years, from Princess Diana's puffy sleeve dress to this year's trending nude wedding dresses. This Timely Atelier's nude illusion ballgown is one of them.

It boasts a sheer top with pearls and has been making the rounds on social media. The creative director of the Nigerian-based Atelier, Olubukola Sonubi, says the inspiration for this dress came from studying the latest wedding trends.

I got the inspiration for the dress by studying the current trends in the fashion design space. The nude illusion was a big trend when this dress was made... so I thought to make something unique with the trend.

Despite assumptions, the dress wasn't designed for a specific bride, Olubukola says, but the team did not go out of their way to burst the online buzz. The dress was part of a collection in our 2021 bridal series. I collaborated with a lot of other wedding vendors for the photoshoot. The result generated so much online attention that everyone thought it was an actual wedding, so we just stuck with that narrative.

According to Olubukola, making the design was time-consuming and took four months and four people to complete because of the pearl details. The material used to make the dress includes pearls, satin, lace and bridal nets.

Ways To Tap Into The Glory Of God

As the dress made its rounds on social media, the design house received many controversial comments regarding the design. Conservatives were especially not in favour of the dress. We understand that not everyone has the boldness to rock a nude illusion dress. We also make very modest dresses for conservative brides.

We usually schedule a virtual consultation session with our international clients where we discuss the styles and every other necessary information, and during the consultation, we also give a guide on how to take proper measurement.

The Atelier also runs a fashion school established in August 2018, where they teach international standard dressmaking processes. The fees at the school cost about $400 to $600 (R6900 to R10 300) depending on the course or courses. Their courses range from beginners to intermediate to advanced levels, taking between three to six months. They also have special courses like the bridal wear course and Tambour beading.

Sonubi shared the reasons she started the fashion school and her passion for teaching. I am very passionate about acquiring and passing knowledge. Once I learn a new skill, I am thinking of the next available person who I can teach the skill that was what birthed the fashion school.

The most significant achievement the brand has seen is the expansion of the business within the last year, where they recently just moved to a vast and well-furnished space. They have also seen exceptional growth in the social media space. In the future, Sonubi sees the brand becoming the most sought-after global brand and currently, they are working on showcasing their new collection on an international runway.
