High school seniors can only take courses at Harvard School if they are accepted into the Secondary School Program for High School Students. To qualify for this program, you must submit a completed application by the appropriate deadline and be accepted into the program.

The city of Cambridge itself, home to the Summer School (as well as Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is a well-known research center with an intercultural environment: it has representatives from more than 50 countries and more than 82 countries.
The total area of the Harvard campus reaches 85 hectares (Main Campus), another 9 hectares occupy the Medical Campus and 145 hectares - the Sports Campus (together with the Business School). On the banks of the Charles River (Sports Campus) a large modern stadium is built, within walking distance there are beaches and lakes, beautiful foothills.
Harvard University Is Offering Free Online Courses
Harvard Summer School students can use the entire infrastructure and equipment of Harvard University - there is absolutely everything for study and rest! On the territory there are sports and gymnastic halls, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), tennis courts, grounds for individual lessons and team games. On the entire campus are bicycle paths - students can move between buildings on bicycles (there are rentals). There is a huge main library and several faculty reading halls, Peabody's own Museum of Archeology and Ethnology and the Museum of Natural History.
In the immediate vicinity of the university territory is Harvard Square: it is home to bookstores, numerous cafes and restaurants, historical and cultural monuments, music clubs, street performers often act here. The center of Boston is just 4 metro stops away.
